Since February 2003, Al Kamandjâti organizes once a year a special
event -- concert, exhibition, information – in order to support
its projects in Palestine and in Lebanon. Around 900 persons always
attend this festival that became a tradition at the “Chabada” in
Angers (49).
The main objective of this performance
is to make known the project and the Al Kamandjâti activities,
and finally, the situation in Palestine. These concerts show the happiness
that music could bring.
“
Musicians for Palestine” is as well an opportunity to collect
funds that allow the association to finance international transportation
and some local expenses as music instruments, music notation books.
