Instruments expedition : First instrument batch to Palestine
On July 21st 2005, a two-ton container
of music instruments (15 music stands, 100 kg of music scores and 600
CDs) headed to Palestine.
Almost all these instruments were collected
during fundraising events and donated by generous members or public
institutions. They were packed in Angers (49) and travelled to Montoir
de Bretagne (44); they sailed in a container till Ashdod harbour; after
all, they reached Ramallah by road and arrived at the Al Kamandjâti
Music Centre on August 16th.
