While
all musicians go back home, it created a chance for Al Kamandjâti
to speak for its actions and to state under oath about the situation
within the Palestinian Occupied Territories. Travel and education broaden
the mind, and are therefore the best remedies to prejudice; while they
are back in France, Germany, USA…, musicians tell others about
their experiences and having their own contacts abroad should eventually
reach a kind of critical mass, and can only benefit the cause of music
education wherever the Palestinian children need it.
These conferences followed by music concerts
confirm the relevance of the Al Kamandjâti action to the target
groups.
First lecture was delivered by Mrs Leila
Shahid at the Chanzy theatre in Angers (49).
