Stop the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people - Stop the siege on Gaza.

Al Kamandjâti Association is organizing the 5th Music Days Festival from June 10th to 24th 2010, under the motto of the boycott of Israeli products as well academic and cultural institutions to end their complicity in denying Palestinian rights.


Indeed, many Israeli products are made in the Israeli settlements of the West-Bank and occupied Golan, which are illegal according to the International Law. The Israeli Authorities prevent Palestinian culture from spreading in the West-Bank, Gaza and among the Palestinians of 48, and prevent these areas from communicating with each other. Finally, thousands of young Palestinians encounter huge obstacles or are prevented from going to their school, college or university, because of the apartheid wall and the Israeli barriers.


And because we believe in pacific resistance and in our right to be here, we ask all people who believe in human rights and in freedom, to boycott Israeli products as well as cultural and academic institutions, until Israel understands that it cannot kill a people's will by force, respects the international laws, and ends the occupation.


This year, the festival is welcoming over 100 musicians and singers from different cultures around the globe, presenting around 60 performances. The performances will take place in most West Bank cities, towns, villages and refugee camps from Hebron to Jenin, and in Jerusalem, in the centers of the Red Crescent, orphanages, retirement houses, cultural centers, children's centers, educational institutions, concert halls and theatres.


The performers will vary from amateurs to those that have made music their life profession, from local to foreign ensembles, bringing in vibrant melodies of jazz, classical, beatbox, rock, percussion groups, eastern beats and traditional Palestinian and Arabic music.
