Music Education UNRWA Schools

Since 2010 Al Kamandjâti started music education in six UNRWA schools in Palestine * (in refugee camps in Al Amari, and Jalazon Qalandiah) in the project "Music Bridges in the West Bank, Italy and France "(DCI HUM 2009 206 810), co-funded by the European Commission and Terre des Hommes Italy. The project targets young children (6/7/8 years) involved in schools and 30 classes.

The aim is to introduce children to music, allowing them to discover the instruments, sounds, help to sing, and especially enjoy all that music can bring. Studies have established a clear link between music education and increased concentration of children during school time in general, and beyond to be fun for children.
